Top Tips Guide to PayStation: Fujitsu Note Dispenser Cassette Rollers
During its working life, your PayStation is designed to process huge quantities of cash. To keep your machine in tip top working order, we recommend, as you would with a car, some preventative maintenance.
In this feature, we focus on the maintenance of the Note Cassette units.
The note cassettes fitted into the Banknote Dispenser require some servicing and basic maintenance.
One of the key points is the rubber rollers in the note cassettes which feed the banknotes from the cassettes into the dispenser out to your customers. Eventually these rollers wear, as would the tyres on a car, and need replacing.
The longer these are left to wear the more chance that the units will struggle to dispense the banknotes and may lead to high note rejections and occasional note jams.
