Setup and Download to Quantum system

Setup handheld

  1. Connect the handheld to the PC
  2. Turn the handheld on and select the START menu, then select QUANTUM
  3. On the PC – From the Quantum system select the HANDHELD COLLECTIONPROCESSING option from the COLLECTION tab
  4. Select (tick) the site(s) and machine type(s) you wish to send to the handheld
  5. Select the SETUP button – Quantum system will display message ENSURE HANDHELD IS READY TO CONNECT
  1. On handheld – from the QUANTUM menu, select CONNECT TO PC then the RECEIVE option
  2. On QUANTUM select the OK button
  3. Records will be sent to the handheld

Download from handheld to pc

  1. Connect the handheld terminal to the PC
  2. Turn the handheld on and select the START menu, then select QUANTUM
  3. On the PC – From the Quantum system select the HANDHELD COLLECTION PROCESSING option from the COLLECTION tab
  4. Select (tick) the site(s) and machine type(s) you expect to receive from the handheld
  5. Select the RECEIVE button – Quantum system will display message ENSURE HANDHELD IS READY TO CONNECT
  1. On handheld – from the QUANTUM menu, select CONNECT TO PC then the TRANSFER option
  2. On QUANTUM select the OK button
  3. Records will be sent from handheld to PC
