Project Manager (IT, Operations & Planning)

About The Role

Founded in 1989, Playsafe Systems are a UK leader in building systems and solutions for a wide range of industries including gaming, leisure and retail. Our bespoke product line of machinery, as well as software solutions, assist our clients in business-critical areas such as player loyalty, marketing, security and cash management technology.

Projects play a vital part of how we strive to operate as an organised and fluid business. That is why we are opening up a new position in the company for a Project Manager with particular expertise in the areas of IT, Operations & Planning. Playsafe seek an experienced Project Manager responsible for leading some of the most critical projects we have as a business. You will be responsible for a number of areas which include the below:

What You Will Do:

  • Take ownership and manage the delivery of technical projects. Hold responsibility on a full life cycle basis
  • Ensure utilisation of company project systems, make sure there is alignment in progress with development/technical teams
  • Take leadership of project budgeting and timing. Making sure projects are scaled to budget and within time constraints
  • Hold responsibility for Quality Assurance & Risk Assessment activity when undertaking projects
  • Take the lead in communication between both internal & external stakeholders when providing project updates. Making sure both verbal and written reporting is accurate

What We Would Like From You:

  • Experienced full life cycle Project Manager with a background and passion in Technology
  • Hold formal Project Management qualification (Prince 2, APM, Scrum)
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies & delivery techniques
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills, ability to manage stakeholders both internal and external
  • Familiarity of working with Project Management systems, JIRA desirably
  • Ability to work on a Hybrid basis (3/2) from our HQ in Bath, Avon
