Field Service Technician

About The Role

Founded in 1989, Playsafe-Systems is a market leading systems business, providing real-time reporting, analytics, and cashless solutions for hundreds of gaming and leisure venues across the UK. Playsafe Systems also incorporates the Thomas Automatics brand, the market leading provider of change machines and PayStations. The Playsafe Systems team is widely respected for its expertise and commitment to both client support and on-going product development.

As a result of rapid expansion, Playsafe are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our growing Field Service Team. We are committed to ensuring our customers receive the highest possible service standards and provide full instruction and ongoing training where necessary. Our Service Engineers also take a lead role in assisting in the development of customer service procedures and continually improving the services we provide. This role plays an important part in continuing this activity. Some more information on the role can be found below:

What You Will Do:

  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to our customers with Software queries
  • Ensure all new installations are of the highest standard
  • Maintain good customer relationships with all customers and provide basic operating procedures also event instruction and any information on new software / hardware.
  • Provide regular preventative maintenance services
  • Carry out site visits and maintenance on an on-going regular basis as instructed by the business.
  • Log any concerns, incidents and feedback from customers. Ensure reporting is accurate and concise
  • Ability to travel to customers across the UK for customer visits

What We Would Like From You:

  • Previous experience working within a technical role, ideally within the gaming / electronics field or IT sector.
  • A passion for technology and the desire and ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Good time keeping and the ability to work to targets.
  • A full UK driving licence.
